"This was our seventh anniversary on Ocracoke for the 4th of July. The Silver Lake harbor has been absolutely enchanting this week. We look forward to coffee on the front decks in the morning, watching the fishing boats go out, the abundance of birds and even dolphin feeding. In the evening the sunsets take your breathe away along with an occasional visit from a family of otters. We look forward, God willing of course, to many more celebrations here at McWilliams Landing. “We got married in our home in Southern Shores on Sat - Oct 19th. We've always loved Ocracoke and even though we live on the Outer Banks, being here is different. We really love your home and fully intend to reserve it again for many more anniversaries to come. Most of our week was cloudy & rainy, but who cares! We own a pool & spa co. in Southern Shores so after 8 months of hot sun and hard work, the cloudy weather was fine with us. But the best part about staying at McWilliams Landing was being able to dock our 20' BayLiner right at our doorstep. We enjoyed fishing every morning and cooking our catch on the grill every evening. Nothin could be finer...".
