If traveling from Cedar Island (South) or Swanquarter (West) you must make ferry reservations. Traveling from Nags Head (North), the Cape Hatteras
ferry is free! Wait can be long at the Hatteras ferry so we recommend taking the Cedar Island or Swanquarter ferry.
